Give Me a Mac started out from a need for a newer, more powerful Mac to continue work on projects that are currently in progress and future projects that can't even be started because of the computing requirements. Frustration levels build when you look over the hardware requirements for a new program and realize you can't use it simply because you're using a processor three generations old. Macs are bulletproof and wonderful machines to work on but sadly there are some apps that require the latest and greatest in processing power.

After getting the needed Macs for myself I see this becoming a place where ANYONE (within reason that is) that needs a new Mac can go. Underprivileged children, charities, people wanting to make the switch from PCs to Mac (my mother), scholarship recipients (I've been wanting to start up a scholarship fund for years) can all benefit from organizations donating new, slightly-used, or used Macs to the cause.
